My Signers are the Signers who guard the gates between worlds, and held defend Fairyland. They speak for the fairy spirits and protect the Ancient Forest from decay, as if my forest decays, your world is likely to be brought into an age of darkness.

Fairyland is only accessible by children and those young at heart because of stupid Old Magic.
My signers help defend that. Bad things happening in my world have stupid ripple effects in your world because the two are tied back to one another because apparently human imagination.
And I also try to keep bad monsters like an evil monkey king from bringing about a Dark Age in this world because he's a stupid goober!

Protect it from that side from dark forces that would encroach on it.
