Fairyland is only accessible by children and those young at heart because of stupid Old Magic.
My signers help defend that. Bad things happening in my world have stupid ripple effects in your world because the two are tied back to one another because apparently human imagination.
And I also try to keep bad monsters like an evil monkey king from bringing about a Dark Age in this world because he's a stupid goober!

My experience is that for whatever reason, Fairyland with children, starts defaulting to Three Stooges and Marx Brothers slapstick logic.
